The Deputy Company Secretary offers a number of support functions to the Compnay Secretary.
The Deputy Company Secretary is involved in a range of activities covering areas such as managing the production of Board packs, production of sections of the Group’s Annual Report and Accounts, organising the AGM and maintaining accurate records and ensuring good corporate governance practice is maintained appropriate for a listed company.
There will also be ad hoc projects which the Deputy Company Secretary will be expected to lead.
The Deputy Company Secretary will be required to have excellent technical, organisational and administrative skills along with the ability to organise routine events in the company secretary calendar with confidence and efficiency.
The Deputy Company Secretary will be expected to take a lead in managing areas within the Company Secretarial department, working with the Company Secretary, and two other support staff providing direction and assisting development of them.
The Senior HR & Training Officer offers a number of support functions to the rest of Stobart Group therefore this role is extremely varied in its nature. The HR Officer is involved in a range of activities that cover areas such as disciplinary, recruitment, policy review, training and development, induction, employee engagement and performance management. The HR Officer is required to respond quickly in an effective and commercial way, providing excellent internal customer service to all departments and line managers.
