Stobart Rail’s main office is located just off junction 44 of the M6 in Carlisle, Cumbria. In addition, the Company operates from regional offices at Bardon in Leicestershire, Southend in Essex and at Widnes in Cheshire, which also includes the Company’s test track and training facility.

Freight services are managed from offices in both Daventry and Inverness. The Stobart Rail Plant Department is also located at Carlisle, a site that includes extensive plant maintenance and steel fabrication workshop facilities. As part of the large, successful Stobart Group, Stobart Rail is able to utilise over 30 sites across the UK as operational bases. This on-tap capacity provides a great deal of flexibility in the delivery of projects, whether through the provision of meeting and office facilities or for the storage of plant and equipment.
