Inland Ports

The well-established 3MG is a major container handling and storage facility located at Widnes.

The Mersey Multimodal Gateway handles around 100,000 containers a year, it also provides secure storage for 6,000 containers and features rail-mounted gantry cranes straddling around 3.5 km of rail lines.

Stobart Ports also operates its own fleet of specialist ‘skeletal’ container trailers.
