Stobart International combines its own storage facilities at Lokeren, Belgium and Warrington and offices in Dublin with a dedicated, high specification fleet, coupled with a range of specialised trailers including walking floors and combination high volume double deck trailers that feature refrigerated lower compartments.

Cross Docking at Lokeren

Lokeren’s four temperature controlled cross-dock loading bays allow easy access to both the upper deck and lower refrigerated compartments of International’s special high volume trailers.

The fully enclosed twin bays allow loads transported from the UK to be picked, transferred and reloaded for regional distribution across Germany without exposure to uncontrolled temperatures.

Twin Deck Trailers

Operated on behalf of the NAAFI, International’s advanced fleet of specialised twin deck trailers combine an upper deck designed to carry cages, with a lower deck featuring a standard cage area and a variable sized refrigerated section with its own cooling unit.

This highly successful trailer system is the ideal solution for mixed deliveries where relative refrigerated/ambient load volumes vary and a high total capacity is required.

Goods are collected in Northern England in the afternoon, shipped to Lokeren for cross-docking ready for distribution throughout central Germany from 6.00am the next day.
